«A Busker’s Ballad»
Illustrated reportage on street music and busking in Hamburg, from a musician’s perspective. I spent several days with the musician, interviewed him, following his performances, making sketches, taking photos, recording sounds, and capturing the atmosphere of the streets. Back in the atelier, I made the illustrations using the technique of watercolours and collage. Finally I incorporated the text, designed the layout, and released it as an A3-format self-published edition.
